Entrance sculpture One of Chicago's most visually-striking educational buildings, this limestone-clad skyscraper was built to house a Catholic women's college. Now owned by Loyola University of Chicago, the building was designed in the Art Deco style, which favored strongly-geometric forms and non-historic "modernistic" ornament, including chevrons and abstract floral patterns.
