The City of Chicago's 311 Service Request Hotline is the preferred method for residents and visitors to register complaints. However, you may also call (312) 746-8030 to talk with a Food Protection representative. Please have ready as much information as possible when calling to report a complaint. You will be asked to provide as much as three days of food consumption history when reporting a suspected food-borne illness. You can also email us on any subject at: cdphfood@cityofchicago.org .
