Foster Care Application
CACC's foster program is designed to allow CACC's most at-risk animals to be directly placed into short-term foster care allowing for quiet recovery, medical isolation while animals await transfer to a rescue, a calm environment for fearful or under-socialized animals, and / or urgent care for neonate kittens, puppies under eight (8) weeks, and senior animals.
CACC's goal for its foster program is also to provide a direct resource to its Homeward Bound Rescue Partners for more foster homes. If you are a Chicago Resident (or a Cook County Resident on a case by case basis) and are interested in becoming a foster caregiver to one of CACC's animals, please fill out the application below. Once CACC receives your application, a staff member will email you with the next steps.
